How it Works
The first key to a database is the address collection and field verification. This is accomplished by field addressing all points within the county. You simply drive the roads and the addresses are collected automatically with a Lat/lon point. From there it is possible to derive the addressing database. The database is the foundation that the 911 center is built upon. A good database eliminates problems in the future.

The Database
The addresses are collected in a mapping and addressing system and from there we derive the addressing database. We will collect points for every structure (homes, mobile homes, churches, schools and businesses) in the county. In addition, all beginning, ending, intersections, bridges, fire hydrants, fire stations, EMS Stations, Police Stations, Post Offices, motels, apartments, pay phones, cell towers, railroad crossings, cemeteries, ESN boundaries, airstrips, airports, hospitals campgrounds, parks, cities, mile markers, political boundaries, historical landmarks and all other landmarks within the county. These points that are collected are used to create the complete addressing database.
